Temporary position as Senior Advisor with
The Natural Step
Contract: This is a temporary contract for a 6 months period, starting as soon as possible (Jan 2010 to June 2010)
Responsible for: Senior advisor /projectleader of TNS advisory projects in Sweden and internationally.
Working Hours: 40 hours week. The pattern of hours may vary according to operational needs and generally work will be carried out during normal office hours.
Holiday: 30 days per full working year

THE SENIOR ADVISOR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:
- Lead delivery of TNS projects in Sweden and internationally.
- Providing strategic sustainability education, lectures and advice to the partners, in the public and private sectors, using the Natural Step Framework and methods.
- Securing, contributing to and managing special projects as appropriate, including a lead role in delivery and development of TNS-related work within organisations.
- Raising new partners, additional strategic advice and special projects with partners.
- Input into internal project management and budget processes and potentially management of external suppliers/consultants in specific project
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Educated to academic degree level.
- Understanding of, and a commitment to, the mission of the Natural Step.
- Experience in utilising the Natural Step Framework, including proven ability to apply and communicate the TNS Framework at any level.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with or within business on sustainability issues, organisational change or other relevant related work.
- Able to lead and facilitate workshops and deliver training sessions & seminars.
- Ability to produce and contribute to a wide range of documents (for example business plans, offers, consultancy reports, briefs and presentations) to tight deadlines and to consistently high standard.
- A good team worker and leader where required, able to work under pressure
- "Normal" office competence in working independent with administration and electronic information systems (Windows and Internet)
- Working ability in both English and Swedish (spoken and written).
